3 Tips To Make You Stand Out From The Network Marketers Crowd

Posted by Reyn | October 16, 2008

Promote Yourself

It’s very simple to be unique. Just be yourself. When you promote yourself, you’ve made a marketing campaign that is the only one in the world.

Another advantage of promoting yourself is to getting people to trust you more.

They will look up to you as an expert. An expert who promote their capability is more credible than sleazy salesman endorsing their products.

The basic of selling is trust, and for prospects, there is no way they can trust a product that they’ve never used or seen before. This is where your role as the middleman come in place.

No matter how good your product is, prospects will mostly scrutinize you instead of the product, whether consciously or unconsciously. So don’t waste your time promoting the features of your products.

Promote benefits that incorporate directly into your life experience. If you can bring yourself as a living, breathing testimony for the product, trust begins to form and selling is just one step away.

Don’t Use Your Company Ad

Using your company’s ads is the most obvious thing to do to be chameleon. You will blend perfectly into the crowd and there’s no way prospects will land to you except by blind luck.

I know that your company may have hired the best copywriters to write those ads, but when literally thousands of people using it at the same time, they become almost worthless.

Someone once argued that his product is the best in the world. People will come in search of the product and there’s no point in using unique ads. When people see the xxxx slogan, they will buy. But here’s an illustration to explain what I mean.

Nowadays, everybody is selling coca cola, arguably the best soda drink in the world. Let’s say you open a coca cola kiosk by the side of an alley in Chinatown.

Along the alley, there are another 10 kiosks selling coca cola, each have the same identical banner in front of the store. Now, do you think people will mind from where they but it? Off course not.

For buyers, the benefits are the same regardless where they purchase it. For sellers, it’s a loss of opportunity.

Be creative.

Tweak you company ads a bit and you can have an ads that stand out from the crowd.

Don’t Send Your Prospects to Your Company Website

More than 90% network marketers send their prospects directly to the company website. Every good company usually has their own email marketing campaign to follow up woth your prospects.

This is not a good thing as you can’t control your prospects. When they sign up in you company squeeze page, they will be stored inside the company’s autoresponder. While it seems like a good deal, you lose the personal touch, which often be the deciding factor for the prospects.

When they join your company’s autoresponder, they might notice that this is just another automated email series and lose their interest. But if you are using your own autoresponder, although it is also automated, you can use a more friendly language so that they know there is a human behind it.

It’s a basic marketing principle that human touch always sell better.
