How To Turn Your Network Marketing Failure Into Huge Success

What separates network marketing heavy hitters from 97% network marketers who quit is how they respond to failure.
It is what they do about failure that produces very different results.
Basically, there are 3 ways network marketers deal with failure.
- Give Excuses, Lay Blame and Give Up
This first group of people is the most common kind of people in network marketing. When they don’t reach their goals, they regard it as a failure. The next thing they do is looking for someone or something to blame. “I’m not good enough”, “Network marketing is just not for me”, “My sponsor did not teach me anything”, “My downline are lazy”.
Surely enough, this kind of respond won’t do them any good. When you blame, you instantly give up your right to control life and you won’t learn anything. Eventually they will give up and if you ask them, they will say, “I’ve tried it before and it didn’t work.” Sounds familiar?
- Keep Trying the Same Thing Over and Over Again
Now we talk about people who have a lot more determination than the first group. When they face the first hurdle and fall, they don’t quit. They get up and try again. Their motto is “I failed because I didn’t try hard enough” or “If I keep trying, I will eventually succeed.” So they stay on course and do it all over again, this time, a little harder. Will it work? Yes and no. If you are talking about mediocre result, then they might someday. But if you’re talking about massive success, the chances are very close zero.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I know a veteran network marketers who fell into this group in his early days in the industry. For the first 5 years, he kept on repeating the non-working way of prospecting. He was pitching everyone that comes within his 3-foot range. Cafe waiters, postmen, shop attendances and strangers are as good as prospects to him. It had been the same for the whole 5 years, he even told me that he was surprised that he managed to stay sane during that time. Not until he moved on to the next group, had he experienced success beyond his wildest dream.
- Take Feedback, Change Strategy and Take Action Until They Succeed
So what is the pattern that all successful network marketers exhibit? When they don’t reach the desired results, they know it’s not a failure. Instead, they take is as feedback. For this group of people, the moment of failure is the day they quit. So they take the necessary feedback, rearrange their strategy and take the appropriate action. Even if it takes 100 feedback sessions, they’ll take it.
Remember the veteran network marketers I mentioned before? After 5 years of pathetic record in network marketing, he realized that it must the system he was using that was wrong. This time, he humbly retreat for a moment and think for a new strategy. After a few trials and errors, he finally arrived at a workable system that his downline can replicate easily.
So which group are you belong to? In network marketing, there is only this 3 groups. There is no such thing as genius, stupid or talented group. In fact, almost every network marketing expert were once a disaster. But it is the courage to try again using different strategies that rewards them handsomely at the end of the day. Just remember that when you don’t reach your goals, it does not mean that you have failed, it’s just merely feedback. It’s what you’re going to do with the feedback that counts.
